Frequently Asked Questions

WE'RE COMING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN, where is the festival located?
We are located at Cheadle Lake Park, which is directly across the street from the Lebanon Fire District-Cheadle Lake Station located at: 37919 Weirich Dr, Lebanon, OR 97355. As you get close to the Festival grounds, there will be plenty of signage telling you how best to navigate parking and get into the Festival.
ARE PETS WELCOME AT THE FESTIVAL?
Unfortunately, no. While we love our furry friends as much as anyone, we know that a hot, noisy environment with lots of people can be far too overwhelming for our pets. So for their safety, as well as that of our patrons, please leave your furry friends at home! And definitely not in your hot car out in the parking lot. We are more than happy to accommodate service animals, but please leave your pets at home where they are safest.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET INTO THE STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL?
The cost for Admission will be as follows:
  • Parking is free.
  • Individuals over 12 are $8.00 per day. Children 12 and under are free.
  • Admission passes are sold by the day, a 4-day pass is available for $27.
  • Passes are not transferable.
  • Passes are not refundable.
WHAT IS PRESALE? WHAT ARE WRISTBANDS?
If you are a carnival ride fan... Then presale is for you! Each year, we offer "wristbands" for sale ahead of Festival at a discounted rate. These wristbands provide unlimited rides at the carnival for one day of the fair (of your selection). Make sure and buy early! There are a limited number of presales available, and we often sell out. You can also reserve your wristbands online starting May 1st. If you miss out, wristbands will be for sale at the carnival for at the normal rate.
DO I NEED A WRISTBAND TO RIDE ON THE CARNIVAL RIDES?
No, wristbands allow for unlimited riding. If you are just a "casual" carnival goer, or just want that one ride on the Ferris wheel, you may be better off buying individual tickets at the carnival. Rides are marked with how many tickets are required for one ride, so you can decide which option is most economic for your riding preference.
WHEN DOES THE FAIR/CARNIVAL SHUT DOWN EACH NIGHT?
That is a good question! And one we don't have an answer for. The Carnival is operated by Rainier Amusements, and it is at their discretion when they want to close down each night. If the weather is good, things are running smoothly, and the crowds are still wanting to ride, ride, ride... Then the Carnival usually stays open late. If there aren't many people riding rides, then it's likely to close down early. As far as the Country Fair vendors, and other Festival activities, most will start closing up shop around 9:00, and 5:00 on Sunday, but again, it is at the discretion of the individual vendors if they want to stay open later.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT FESTIVAL?
Various beers and alcoholic beverages may be purchased, but no outside alcohol is permitted for safety reasons.
IS SMOKING ALLOWED AT FESTIVAL?
Smoking is only permitted in marked areas.  The park is a city park and no smoking is allowed anywhere but in the designated areas.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO COME TO FAIR TO GET STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE?
Our "World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake" is served free to fair goers immediately following the Grand Parade on Saturday of Festival.
